After eight years of development, the 1.0 version of the QEMU virtual machine technology has been released. As one would expect after such a long time, there are many important changes, including:
QEMU now uses a separate thread for VCPU execution. This merges the biggest difference between the qemu-kvm tree and upstream QEMU.
